Xiaomi will present its e-book on November 20

In a sector practically dominated by Kobo and Amazon we find the arrival of a new competitor, which is also used to breaking into new markets with force, we are not talking about another brand than the Chinese Xiaomi. The Asian manufacturer has scheduled a presentation on November 20 to unveil its new eReader.

Very curious about the new product from xiaomi That is not so much due to its characteristics and performance, but to how it is going to implement a good library with accessible content for all users, something in which Amazon undoubtedly has quite an advantage, will it be compatible with the Kindle store?

There is still no more information about the product, which boasts a design (in sketch) that we are quite used to in this market. It will only have a physical button in the upper right part, so we presume that we are facing a tactile eReader. There is also talk about the possibility of having a headphone jack for audiobooks, and even Bluetooth features. What if it gains more strength, given Xiaomi's experience in these technological sectors, is that it will have resistance to splashes and dust, yet to confirm its "IP" degree.

Meanwhile we are still waiting for news, so Stay tuned on November 20, which is the date set by Xiaomi to launch what will be its first eReader, and above all about the mechanisms that it will use in order to integrate our library without losing any of the currently purchased ones, for which integration with stores of other companies will be essential, since at this time Xiaomi does not have a book store digital. They could always surprise us, especially at the price level taking into account the trajectory of the Chinese firm.

What interests me the most is the size and that it has good performance. Less the Wifi because it consumes too much the battery no matter how little it is used, it is significant. Apart from the fact that the manufacturer controls us through Wi-Fi, as happens in Kobo because some ebup that I buy in C of the Book I cannot see in kobo. But it is not worth it because there are several free download pages on the internet. Apart from this I also value:
A good dictionary and «programming» to be able to include other dictionaries, eg: Latin, Greek ... that can be downloaded but are not compatible with the reading we are reading (I don't know how to explain it but you understand me)
    Light.
Shock resistance because tagus are eggs in the hands.
    Long battery life.
Underlining is very important to me because most of my reading is about science and history and I like to underline to better fix it in my mind. And of course, a scoring device.
Save page. Increase (+ -) And what I would like the most, to be able to write or draw with a pointer or pencil. Definitely. as if it were a real paper book.
Because if I tell the truth, I like to read more by the reader than in books because if you don't know a word, just touch it and the definition appears without having to pick up another book. The most important drawbacks are fragility, batteries and not being able to write and take footnotes. Thanks.

What does this mania of not dating articles respond to?
Right now, April 12, 2020, I read that there is talk of next November 20. Will it be from this year? Was it the past? How to know if the article does not have a date.
