Xiaomi enters the world of eBooks

Xiaomi

Today we have heard the interesting news that the company Xiaomi, known throughout the world for the sale of mobile devices with powerful features at very affordable prices for consumers, has decided to enter the world of digital reading and specifically in that of eBooks.

And it is that the firm that has only three years of history has developed a new digital book store that has already started to work and that we can find integrated into MIUI, which is nothing more than a firmware developed by Xiaomi itself to run on its own smartphone.

At the moment very few details are known about this new library and it is unknown in which countries it will be operational or how many copies we can find in its catalog but what has emerged is that Xiaomi will reward readers with a small amount of money for each number of characters we read which can be a reason to buy eBooks in your digital store and also an incentive to read.

Xiaomi at the moment has its main market in China but it is already beginning to reach Europe and the whole world and it is not ruled out that in a few months or years it will become a world reference, not only in the mobile device market but also in others such as that of digital reading.

Amazon should certainly be very concerned especially for its Chinese market but also for the rest of the world because Xiaomi's landing in the world of digital books and surely in that of eReaders in the not too distant future could be a major setback for the firm that he directs Jeff Bezos.

What do you think of Xiaomi's new initiative to create a digital library with interesting benefits for the user?.
