Tolino Vision, the new eReader of the Tolino Alliance

Tolino Vision, the new eReader of the Tolino Alliance

A few hours ago the Tolino Alliance officially showed us his new eReader, the Tolino Vision, its characteristics and its price, as well as its availability. Tolino Vision will be put on sale on April 5 and offers quite a few improvements over the rumors that already spoke of him.

The new Tolino Vision will be priced at 129 euros and will go on sale with its older brother, the Tolino Shine and the Tolino Tab. Also this new eReader will use Letter technology what will you share with the Kindle Paperwhite 2, being the only ones so far to use this technology.

Tolino Vision Features

The Tolino Vision screen uses technology E-Ink Lettera 6 "size and a resolution of 1024 × 758 pixels. The screen is capacitive and has a front light like many of today's eReaders. The processor is a Freescale iMx6 with 1 Ghz and 512 mb of ram. Regarding storage, the Tolino vision It has a 4Gb of own storage, of which only 2 Gb can be used although this storage can be expanded through a microsd slot. In addition to this slot, it has wifi and a microusb output. Regarding software, Tolino Vision uses a version of Android called AOSP and the typical modifications of the Tolino Alliance, among them the access to the 25 gb virtual hard disk and the possibility of connecting to the Telekom hotspots.

As a novelty, in addition to the use of Letter, there is the possibility of locking the screen by pin and the aesthetic change of the eReader, since in addition to reducing the size of the case, the central button has been modified, going from a manual button to an optical button.

Opinion

While it is true that the price has not been very accurate, it is also true that I do not think that the purchase is very risky as some bloggers say. It is a pretty good eReader at first glance, that with the discounts that usually apply it will not really have that price and that the only downside that is found so far is the little non-official support that exists for Tolino eReaders. Is more possibly Tolino vision I got to make things difficult for the Kindle Paperwhite in Germany, since the Amazon eReader has the same price but for the moment it has not had big discounts, Will Tolino Vision be the Kindle Killer in Germany?

Hello a question, what bookstores do you recommend to buy books in Spanish from Spain? What are the best? Do you have the entire amazon.es catalog? And most importantly, can you buy books and access bookstores regardless of the country you are in? for example buy titles in Spanish from Germany? Thanks for the help
