New Amazon Fires keep getting deleted automatically

Kindle Fire 8

It has been months since many users of Amazon tablets started to complain because they lost the content of their devices. This is a problem since the user every so often had to restore the content and sometimes lost data.

The problem was with Amazon FreeTime, an application that seems to malfunction with Fire OS as it causes it to revert to the factory state. What happened months ago and that seemed finished continues to happen and now with more virulence.

Several users continue to complain about this malfunction and far from having been solved with the latest updates, now the problem spreads to other devices that also have Amazon FreeTime.

Amazon FreeTime is wreaking havoc on owners of Amazon's new Fires

Thus, several parents have reported that the problem appeared on their tablet but that now the rest of their family's Amazon devices also suffer the same problem. And it becomes a nuisance because some users have reported that up to three times a day they have to restore their data. Something that does not happen even in the worst of tablets.

Amazon still does not comment on this problem, nor does it answer the affected users and I may not even know how to solve the problem. Something strange but due to the silence and the duration of the problem, it is the most obvious answer. In any case, there is no doubt that Amazon is working on a solution to this problem, either only to avoid the returns or exchanges of its devices.

Fortunately, all users have detected that it is due to this new Amazon feature. So in countries in those that are not available, tablets and our data seem to be safe or at least free of factory erasures.
