Slate, a solution for taking notes digitally

Slate

Currently there are a few alternatives and solutions on the market to be able to digitize not only our books but also our notes, our notes, etc ... Everything used to go through an OCR software and a camera or a digitizer pen, but recently we have known an alternative method that will surely appeal to the most traditional. This gadget is called Slate.

Slate is a base where the paper is placed and as we write the database digitizes everything written. For this we do not need neither a special paper nor a special pen, Any paper and any writing system is valid (from pens to mechanical pencils, through pencils or paints), thus avoiding having to use secondary accessories that can make it more expensive to use.

Imagink will be the app that Slate will use to digitize

Slate has an app for iOS and soon for Android that will allow us to manage and create digital documents with what we write or draw. Slate uses a simple system since the base is used as a support and can be used as the hard cover of a traditional notebook, thus bringing the gadget closer to people less experienced in new technologies who prefer traditional methods to take notes or write their books. .

Slate will have a approximate cost of 159 euros which will include not only the support but also paper, pens and clips to hold the paper. We will also have access to the Imagink app, the app that communicates with Slate. Considering that this is a one-time purchase, the Slate price is more affordable than other devices that require special paper or a refillable pen. This time you don't need any of that.

I personally see interesting Slate's method although somewhat cumbersome since it is totally like the traditional system that needs your paper and your pen. Hopefully fewer and fewer people use traditional methods, but it seems that it will take some time to come. Do not you think?
