Sigil already supports the Epub3 format

For a long time, many have given up on the Sigil ebook editor and many others who do not use it for this reason, however everything indicates that the development of this software is more alive than ever. We have recently seen how it has been updated a plugin that allowed us to convert any ebook to Epub3 format.

With this, we no longer need to have to rewrite all the code of the ebook, but rather pass the file through the plugin. Users who have tried and experimented with this plugin claim that it works and there were only a couple of problems that seem to have been fixed in the latest version of the program.

Next to this Plugin, Sigil has a dozen more plugins or add-ons that make the editor once again the best in its field. Among the functions they incorporate, one of these plugins allows you to import ebooks from your Kindle accounts and transform them into an ebook or any other format. This is quite useful because after the malware that has infiltrated the ebooks, Sigil will be able to clean the code of these ebooks and make them safer for our computer.

But not only the Epub3 format is a novelty within Sigil, recently one of the leaders and alma mater of the project, John Nachtinwald, abandoned the project leaving it to the current developers who helped bring Sigil to Github.

Now we will have to be attentive to the operation of this new team but if the transition is completed well, we could be facing a tough and strong project that would be a good option for many editors since the important thing is not that Sigil is constantly updated but that it works well be stable, something that for the moment is perfectly fulfilled, don't you think?
