My experience with this e-book has unfortunately been abysmal.
Very slow turning the page compared to others, very very slow turning on and accessing different functions (in fact sometimes it made me think that it had crashed).
And then the battery. Sometimes it takes me about 100 page steps, sometimes less. I charge it sometimes and if I leave it in standby mode, the next morning (after about 7 to 10 hours in that mode in which I thought it was not consuming battery) I find that half of the battery has been consumed.
Also the battery indicator is not working well. Same and it's full which then indicates half, 1/4, then full and turns off.
It also has a watch that cannot be removed and for my taste it is very annoying.
In short, I am very very disappointed.
I bought the Papyre 613 as soon as it came out as a gift to my sister. It never worked well and I can't get anyone to fix it. I already gave up. Tremendous expense in vain!
They gave it to me when I took out insurance and I gave it to my sister thinking it would be bad. Months passed and my sister was delighted with the little gadget. In addition, all her friends had bought one, so in the end I got one and I must say that it sold, I think it is the best value for money on the market.
By the way, I read at least an hour a day, and the battery lasts almost a month.
I bought the 6.2 very excited. It was excessively slow. Despite this, I kept using it until overnight it stopped working (it had only 8 months of use). In Gramata Argentina they told me that the warranty did not cover what happened because an internal screen was broken. I never dropped it or anything like that. They even told me that it could have broken by pressing hard (crazy considering it is a touch screen).
The cost to fix it is $ 800 and I bought it had bought it at $ 600 new in a Carrefour sale. I think this explains why they are little known.
I bought one of the first models of the brand. It is 5 or 6 years old and it has never given me any problems and that I have used it daily for at least 2 hours
I have to say regarding the papyre 601, that I cannot recommend it to anyone, a bank gave it to me a year ago, my wife bought the same one in the IC and had to exchange it per month for constant blockages for another brand , I have been pulling resert every time it has been blocking me (since there have been a few within the year)
I currently have it blocked on the cervantes page and neither passively nor actively is it unlocked, I am about to throw it in the garbage can and buy my wife's brand, I have reached a point that not even the computer recognizes it, doing everything what has been and for having that the forums say, so I think this model is a chestnut pilonga
Someone has been blocked or knows how to unblock it. Mine there is no way to turn it on or charge the battery and nothing can someone help me in this problem
The blocking problem came from an error when updating it, I was pulling resets when it was six months old, until it stopped solving it about a year after buying it and it was totally blocked, they solved it for me in the technical service of the brand updating there The software that was picked up at the point of sale and returned to me there again, and since it came back it has not given me any blocking problem, it is slow reacting to loading the book and the pages gives you to count to five without running , but I am very happy because I wanted it simple and take the epub format well, reorganizing the text of the pages according to whether they are wide (goodbye to glasses and magnifying glasses) or if you decide to choose to read with the reader vertically or horizontally from the menus, (with pdf and others I do not advise it because when you expand the page you have to navigate through it as if it were an image and its few reflections there if they bother), I have it since it left, reading daily and apart from dropping the menu button of theI use a couple of years ago (which was solved with a drop of glue) did not have any failure again,
