Onyx shows off his 13-inch ereader

13 inch EReader

Curiously, while yesterday we saw how the Tagus Magno 2016 appeared in the House of the Book, today we see images from a new eReader from the same manufacturer, Onyx Boox, whose screen is 13 inches.

We already met this Onyx Boox eReader, however we had no image or proof that it worked and was reality. Today through the MobileRead Forum, Onyx has presented images of the 13-inch eReader with some details of its launch and physical characteristics.

The new 13-inch eReader from Onyx Boox will have a resolution of 2.200 x 1.650 pixels which gives 207 ppi. This resolution is superior to its competitor, the Sony DPT-S1 which has a resolution of 1.600 x 1.200 and 150 ppi. This 13-inch eReader, whose name we do not yet know, will be sale in spring 2016, possibly at the end of April. On the price we do not know anything, important data that we miss, but we do know that it will carry Android so the problem with the Sony DPT-S1 will not appear in the Onyx Boox eReader since there will be no problem to make it work.

It is clear that this new eReader from Onyx Boox will not carry the latest technology on its electronic ink screen but still the image and handling will not be bad, what's more, in this model Onyx Boox has said that its screen will use a stylus and not a touch screen as in previous models. It is something logical since it will try to take the business world where still the stylus is a must.

As I said, the price of this device is currently the most important point, after confirming its existence, something that many would have preferred to know about the resolution of the screen or if it has Android or not. Let's hope that this time the model is not delayed and arrives on schedule, many will be waiting for it.

my question is if this ereader is used to surf the internet, thinking of text not images. See the mail, download word files, pdfs, newspapers ...
Do you know which is the best ereder to navigate?
