Audible has unveiled a new feature for offer gifts to other users that will allow you to share a single audiobook with your friends. Those who receive this first audiobook for free, Audible will pay authors, actors and other owners the equivalent of the value of the title.
If you are an audible member and have purchased an audiobook you can send it instantly to your friends through email, text or WhatsApp when using any of the iOS, Android and Windows 10 devices. If for whatever reason your friend is not a member of Audible, they will receive an invitation to create an account so they can listen to the audiobook .
Another objective of this new initiative by Audible is that be easy to use to gift a previously purchased audiobook. Click on the option «Send this book» from «My library» and the audiobook you give will be sent free of charge to all the contacts that you want to include in the shipment.
If the recipient is the first time receiving an audio book this way, they do not need to sign in for a free trial or use their credit card to obtain the title. It is, in short, a way to make yourself known for a service that is having more and more users and that is allowing to offer another type of format for those who do not have so much time in the day to read, but who find themselves in a traffic jam every day when they leave their work.
