KindleLazy or how to have an eReader for lazy people

This week Amazon has presented a new Fire TV that incorporated a remote control that could collect voice commands to function. This device is interesting although for most readers it was not very interesting. Or so I thought. Surely many of you already thought so, but sometimes there are surprises.

In the MobileRead forum they have presented a project that hacks our eReader to allow wireless page turning and even through voice control.

This personal modification of the Kindle it's called KindleLazy or at least that's how they have baptized it, a project that recreates very well the type of people it is intended for. This project also has a fairly cheap cost because all you have to do is spend $ 20 on a slide show device wirelessly.

Kindlelazy is an ideal project for lazy readers and an alternative to the new Fire

Once this is achieved, we modify the Kindle software through the introduction of the KindleLazy software and we can turn pages or change the font of the text with just two clicks. However, it is not all that its creators want since they try to ensure that all the modifications that Amazon allows to make through Kindle to an ebook, can also be done through the remote control, such as adjusting the brightness or modifying the page.

The success of KindleLazy has been peculiar and surely that many of you will be interested in the project, so through this link you will find not only the indications to make your own modification but also the necessary software to make it possible. Possibly many of you do, but Wouldn't it be better to opt for Amazon's fire tablets? What do you think?
