iPhone with electronic ink or iPad in the form of an eReader, what do you think?

This we are commenting on is not official news by either party, but it is something that has affected both companies. Apparently, a journalistic medium reported yesterday of the possibility of an Apple device with an E-Ink electronic ink display.

This set off alarms not only from Apple fanboys but also from E-Ink, a company that registered its highest in the Stock Market since 2012. However, we do not yet know what device would come out of this union or if such union will be really effective or not.

The news of the iPhone with E-ink screen has affected the shares of E-Ink

Everything comes from the information that Apple reportedly ordered a development kit and products from E-Ink. This has resulted in an iPhone with a double screen as if it were the Yotaphone 2. However, the most cautious affirm that it could be the creation of a series of official cases that would add the second screen.

In any case it seems that the product is diffuse as well as the verisimilitude of the source, as many claim that the original story, published in the Economic Daily News, is unreliable. In any case, whether or not it is true, E-Ink shares have soared, reaching highs in price that had not been recorded since 2012, a moment of success when Amazon launched its Kindle Paperwhite.

I personally think that the kit ordered by Apple from E-Ink is for future Apple projects, but as some point out, to work in Apple's lab, you may not have a final product, but maybe yes, there is even some iPad model with electronic ink offering an alternative to the Kindle. But unlikely in my opinion. And you what do you think? Do you think Apple will launch a product with an E-Ink screen? Do you think it will be an iPad or will it be an iPhone with a double screen?
