Years ago when the world of Free Hardware began, many saw the possibility of joining it to the world of ebooks and creating interactive ebooks that work based on the environment and context in which the reader was reading. Years later this has not been very successful, but a Spanish company has shown that the lack of success is due to other factors and not the actual experience these enhanced ebooks provide.
The company is called iClassics and it has not only made readers enjoy improved ebooks but also young people enjoy the classics of a lifetime in a fun way.
iClassics does not offer ebooks to use but apps that we can install on our tablet or mobile. These apps are ebooks that not only contain the text but also have drawings and images of scenes that help us imagine the events that are occurring in the book. They all have a soundtrack that accompanies ambient sounds.
In some pages, we find animations and in many others they are interactive scenes with which we can interact. Each ebook is available in several languages and once we download it on one platform, we will be able to have the corresponding ebook for the rest of the platforms.
Although I personally believe that the king of everything this time has been the content and not the continent. iClassics works with the great classics, renewing them and making them more attractive in the eyes of young people.
