Icarus also has a 13-inch eReader

Icarus A4

A few days ago we met through Indiegogo a new eReader from the manufacturer Icarus. This new device attempts to bring the company into the market for large screen eReaders. Thus the new Icarus will have a 13-inch screen with Android as the operating system.

The eReader is getting money through through crowdfunding, but that does not mean that the device is linked to this campaign to go on the market. In recent months we have seen how the Icarus Illumina 8 was not only presented through crowdfunding but also It was also sold through the Amazon online store. The new Icarus eReader has a 13-inch screen with moebius technology, a well-known technology with a resolution similar to the Onyx Boox Max. In addition, the device has a dual core processor with 1 Gb of ram and 16 Gb of internal storage that can be expanded through its microsd card slot.

Icarus 13 will have audio output for audiobooks

The terminal's battery is 4.100 mAh, a battery that will allow the user to use the eReader for approximately 15 days between charges. In addition to wifi and bluetooth, the Icarus 13 has audio output that will allow you to listen to songs and audiobooks. But the most interesting thing is that the device will come with Android 4.0 and access to the Play Store. Something that will allow any user to use the eReader as an eReader, as an electronic agenda or simply as a notebook to write down things.

If we take into account the information from the crowdfunding campaign, the Icarus device it will cost about $ 699, an interesting price if we take into account the rest of devices with a 13-inch screen, but still it is still expensive if we take into account the 6-inch devices or so it seems What do you think?

I've seen it on Amazon but I don't like to shop online because I have a bad experience with amazon and ebay because they both sold me an outdated 7-inch Kobo ereader, it doesn't underline correctly and crashes often; but since it is the first one I saw, I thought it was correct, then comparing it with the kobos that they showed me at FNAC I realized that Amazon had deceived me. On Ebay they sold me a tagus with a broken frizna in the corner after 4 months it broke without blows since the Tagus as you know are as fragile as an egg.
I need an ereader of at least 10 inches but also that I can examine it carefully before buying it and make sure that it is equipped with a long-lasting battery and a flexible and resistant screen as well as good features: dictionary, optional dictionary, underlining, color, being able to draw and make sketches, etc. The same features as a paper book + satisfactory technology.
