Google Play kiosk has a new design and also a web version

Google

Google Play Kiosk is one of the many Google services that offers us the possibility of accessing a huge amount of news through different newspapers and magazines around the world. Launched in 2013, it has a total of more than 100 million active users and today we woke up with an almost complete redesign of the application, in addition to the launch of the web version of the service.

As announced by the search giant, this redesign is based on three fundamental pillars; personalization, rich multimedia content and expansion of the platform to the web so that any user can use Google Play Kiosk from, for example, a computer.

Hereinafter we will be able to find recommendations of the most timely and relevant stories based on our interests. In addition, when we open the application, starting today, we will find a personalized summary of news that we should not miss, once again based on our interests.

Google has also greatly improved the support for multimedia content and from now on we will be able to watch the news videos thanks to automatic playback.

Finally, in addition to the Google Play Kiosk update launched for devices with Android and iOS operating systems, Google has also launched a new web version of its well-known service that we can access from any web browser. Of course, for now you have to know that the updates are not available for all devices and that the search giant will gradually launch it.
