Today Gloria Fuertes, the renowned and popular Spanish writer would turn 99, after being born in the Madrid neighborhood of Lavapiés on July 28, 1917. She is no longer with us since she passed away in 1988, but we all still remembered her, even Google that dedicates its doodle to you today, recognizing her talent as a writer and the enormous legacy she left us.
In the Google doodle we can see an animated illustration in which the writer appears doing what she liked to do the most, as she herself confessed; being surrounded by small children who listened attentively and without missing a single detail to the stories she told.
Gloria Fuertes is considered by almost everyone as one of the great references of XNUMXth century Spanish children's literature. The Madrid writer also had time to explore other literary and even musical genres, but she never achieved the same success that she achieved with her children's stories.
Throughout her literary career, Gloria Fuertes wrote about 40 children's stories, five plays for children and about twenty books for adults. He also had time to do radio and television collaborations. Their presences on the television show "One balloon, two balloons, three balloons", are stored in the retina of many Spaniards.
All the tributes that can be paid to Gloria Fuertes are few, but without a doubt the one that Google has paid her today on her birthday is worthy of applause and is that it makes us see that the elongated figure, both literary and personal, of the writer will remain forever.
What do you think of the doodle that Google dedicates to Gloria Fuertes today?.
Hi, I have a Kindle Paperwhite but I don't have a case. Which one do you recommend? I had thought about the official one, but I have read that over time the edges come apart and that it looks like plasticine. There is also another cheaper and different official, but I don't know how it will be: https://www.amazon.com/dp/0285175270?hvdev=c&hvnetw=g&hvqmt=&linkCode=ll1&tag=readers0e-20&linkId=e15f36231b089456bfb6f08d07b3a658&language=es_ES&ref_=as_li_ss_tl
