Google dedicates its doodle to "The Neverending Story" by Michael Ende

Doodle google

Today we woke up to the pleasant news that Google has once again dedicated its popular doodle to the world of literature. And is that the search engine wanted to celebrate 37 years since the publication of the novel The Neverending Story by the German writer Michael Ende.

Published in 1979, this novel achieved great success since its publication, which continues to this day. It was also known for being a book that had another book within itself in which its main character was introduced, Bastian Balthazar Bux.

Since its publication, millions of copies have been sold around the world and it has been translated into a huge number of different languages. In addition, in 1984 he served as inspiration to Wolfang Petersen to create the film that he titled with the same name.

As we said Bastian Balthazar Bux is the protagonist of The Neverending Story, in which you enter the pages of a book you get at an antique store and that leads us to live great adventures. This successful novel led Ende to achieve enormous international prestige and to join that club of world-renowned writers.

As I usually say, I hope Google continues to pay tribute with its doodle to many other authors and novels, because it will undoubtedly make great classics of literature such as The Neverending Story, be up to date again and be read by a good handful of people who surely had never heard of this novel until the search giant took it out of the drawer of oblivion.
