In recent months, the main web browsers have incorporated a service to Read later articles or web pages. This service has almost everyone because Google Chrome does not have it natively ... until now.
The Google Chrome dev channel has shown a development version of Google Chrome that would natively have a service to read later in the popular Google browser. This version would be close to being incorporated as a stable version of the browser so it seems that we could have one more tool to read articles and web pages through our mobile, from the tablet or from the computer itself.
Google Save could be the service that integrates into Chrome to read later
At the moment we have only seen screenshots and operation logs, so we cannot say if the integrated application will be the famous one Google save or it will be the copy of another service that any other browser uses. In any case the read after chrome function does not connect with any other app, so we really cannot read the saved pages on our Kindle or on our Kobo, only on devices that have Google Chrome.
That is why I still prefer services like Pocket or SendToKindle, services that can be used in any web browser as extensions and are compatible with mobile apps and with the main eReaders on the market. Also in these browsers, the Chrome app does not seem to be an exception, they have a long process to read them again, something that differs a lot from Pocket or Send To Kindle.
In any case it seems that Google continues to bet on improving its browser for users with more readers, a need that more and more users are asking for and who have to opt for extensions and add-ons. However What do you stay with? With services like Pocket or with native apps in browsers?
