Although the Ultimate eReader It has not worked as Goodereader expected, the truth is that it has not discouraged the popular web to launch a second eReader. This time it is an eReader that meets the needs of many users, but it does not have a color screen.
Goodereader's new 13-inch eReader It has a 13-inch screen with E-ink Moebius technology with a resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels. Like many other eReaders, this one will have a stylus that has up to 1024 pressure levels. The processor in this 13-inch eReader will be a monolite iMX 6 with 512MB of ram and 4GB of internal storage that can be expanded using a sd card. The Goodereader eReader has Wi-Fi and a weight of 350 gr. which makes it a relatively light device for its specifications.
Ultimate eReader did not work although the 13-inch eReader is expected to do so
Along with the screen size, this eReader It is characterized by having Android as an operating system and access to the Google Play Store. As with Ultimate eReader, Goodereader has launched a campaign to seek funding and money to distribute its new eReader. Thus, if we take as a reference the information of the crowdfunding campaign, we can say that this new eReader will not be sold, because although the eReader is good, price reaches $ 699, a very high price for an eReader, twice as high as the Tagus Magno or similar to the Sony DPT-S1, but without having the backups of these eReaders.
I hope to get confused since maybe the creators of this eReader be the most expert in the market as for eReaders, but in the price I think they have been confused although it is true that its price will be adjusted if it is true that large electronic ink screens are expensive. Still, for those who are looking for a big screen eReader and don't mind the money, this device might be interesting. what do you think?
Interesting but I wonder how those 512 MB of memory will move a device with Android and Stylus. On the other hand, I will always say that I only want a large ereader if it is with a color screen.
PS: when are you encouraged? Todoereaders to get your own ereader? :p
Why do people seem to be only interested in 6 ″ ebooks and when they make them big they go at 10 ″ -13 ″? I miss more 7 ″ -8 ″ ebooks. I have a 6.8 ″ one and the difference with the 6 ″ ones is remarkable, but generally the only affordable ones for the general public are all 6 ″ ones, too small for my taste, but I don't want a 13 ″ behemoth either.
The measure is ideal, but I emphasize the benefits I do not mind paying more if it has a good battery and is equipped with a good dictionary with the possibility of integrating other dictionaries "ad libitum" of the consumer. Nor do I like that said "manufacturer" sticks his nose in my ereader to sell me books, integrating Wi-Fi is enough for me and I will look for them or buy them wherever I please.
