While we continue waiting for the arrival of the bookstores of Winter Winds, the novel that will give continuity to the A Song of Ice and Fire saga, its author has spoken of Game of Thrones, the series based on his increasingly popular literary saga. Perhaps many of you think that he should dedicate himself to writing to end his saga once and for all, but every time he attends events he becomes news for his words.
On this occasion Martin has spoken of Game of Thrones, has confessed that It could have a bittersweet ending, which many of us already had. This undoubtedly makes the news extensible for Song of ice and fire.
"I can't say how (the saga) will end, but I can say that it's probably a bittersweet ending, rather than a happy ending."
These words bear the signature of Martin, who seems to have not yet decided on the ending that he will give to his masterpiece, although he has confirmed that he will try not to leave loose ends, something that will be tremendously complicated given the great complexity of the saga and of the many characters that appear in it.
For the moment the end of Song of ice and fire and Game of Thrones seem still far away, and more if its author continues taking the time that is taken for the publication of each novel. Remember that Winter Winds was going to hit the market at the beginning of this year 2016 and we have already accumulated more than a year of delay, to which must be added the enormous amount of time that has been taken to write the book that still, according to some rumors, is not yet finish.
