Energy eReader Pro

Energy System

Energy Sistem is a company of Spanish origin that since the beginning of time has launched electronic books on the market, which in most cases have been valued very positively by the majority of users. Now he wants to go one step further and a few weeks ago he officially presented the new Energy eReader Pro, a device with some interesting features and specifications and with a very conservative design but what a surprise when you hold it in your hands.

Its price may not be its best feature, but it is not at all disproportionate if we compare it with other devices of this type, although for now we will leave this until the end when we will talk about its price, as well as availability.

Integrated

Starting with the design of this Energy eReader Pro, it does not attract attention at first glance since we are facing a device very similar to the general line of the other electronic books that are present on the market. However as soon as it is held in the hands, the sensation is very pleasant thanks to the materials used for its manufacture.

On its front we can find 4 physical buttons, joined in two bars that will allow us to turn the page, which is ideal for when we use the eReader with one hand, refresh the page or return to the home or home screen of the terminal.

Energy System

Finished in black and with the classic Energy Sistem heart logo on the back, it offers us a sober look and can be adorned with one of the official covers that are for sale for the device.

Exploring its interior

Most eReaders have little or no surprises inside them. In this Energy eReader Pro we will find a ARM Cortex A9 dual-core processor running at a speed of 1.0 GHz, which together with a 512 MB RAM memory make the device show an enormous fluidity and speed.

Its internal storage is 8 GB, which is more than enough for a terminal of this type, taking into account the little space that books in digital format occupy. In case your intentions with this eReader were anything more than reading, this storage is expandable by microSD cards of up to 64 GB.

Finally we cannot stop dwelling on the device operating system, which is Android 4.4.4 Jelly Bean, a somewhat outdated version of Google software but that will allow us, for example, to install applications and use them in a very comfortable way, although perhaps the installation process is not too simple for anyone who has never carried out such a process, since it is not shown like an Android, let's say normal.

You should also know ...

We do not have too many details to review about this Energy eReader Pro, but we believe that you should also know that we are facing a device with a 2.800 mAh battery which for an eReader is a lot, if not a lot and that will ensure a good handful of hours of reading, although as usual this will depend very much on the use we give it and especially on the utility and intensity that we make of the light of the device.

Light is precisely another thing that we cannot overlook, and that is that this Energy Sistem eReader Pro has an integrated light that will allow us to read in the dark, without our eyes ending up tired.

Below we offer you the analysis we did on video of this Energy eReader Pro;

I want to buy an ereader for my mother (76 years old), I quite like this one, but I have a question: When they say that the screen has an integrated light, are they referring to a backlit screen? My mother has poor eyesight and I don't want a backlit screen. I've looked at the reader's instructions, but it's not clear to me Thanks

I think it is an excellent ereader, and especially having Android and Google Play is great news. The price is not at all high considering those software features and the battery that has almost 3000 mAh, since for example the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 of 8 inches and resolution 2048 x 1536 (QXGA) has 4000 mAh and works properly. Hopefully this ereader like the ones from Casa del Libro will promote electronic ink and Android to be seen in many more devices and brands.

    Greetings from Mexico.

    Bad bad bad

The case flakes off and begins to 'peel' as soon as you use it and the battery, no matter how large, does not last an assault. You leave the ebook on the table and in four days the battery is at 0, without touching it.

    In short very bad decision

I do not know since when you have it, but if your battery works so badly and you have it in guarantee, write to them to see if they solve the problem.

      All the best
