Ember, the new font that will arrive with the Kindle Oasis

Kindle Oasis

Bokerly was the custom serif font which came last year in an update to the Kindles and the Fire tablets. A font developed exclusively for use on Amazon through its Kindle platform.

Now is when Amazon is about to launch a new sans-serif font what will come on the new Kindle Oasis which will begin to be distributed next week. Developed by Dalton Maag, Ember is another custom font developed exclusively for Amazon exclusively.

A few months ago Amazon revised and modified the navigation bar and the welcome or home screen on your Kindle digital readers. This served as inspiration for the inclusion of a new font called Ember, which will be available in the new Kindle Oasis.

The Ember fountain is even included in the new user interface on the Kindle Voyage and Paperwhite 3. The text that says "GoodReads" and "Home" is the new san serif font that Amazon is using.

Also, from various sources, Ember is known to have been developed exclusively for Kindle with screen light. The Kindle Oasis is a device to take into account for those 10 points of light with its LEDs that make reading more appropriate in the dark, while other models had four to six. What this achieves is that the light is projected in a better way by having 10 LEDs.

Ember will be found in the Kindle Oasis for a few months as an exclusive and as a way to attract the purchase of this device. As with Kimberly, other eReaders will be able to access to have this source in a future update.

One week and we will be able to know more about this source and its most striking characteristics in that exclusivity from both Ember and Bookerly for Kindle devices.
