Analysis of the Papyre 630 in great detail

Papyre 630

A few days ago we were lucky enough to get the hang of a payre 630, one of the best eReaders on the market, thanks to the collaboration of Papyre to whom we publicly thank from here, and how could it be otherwise we have subjected it to our usual tests that I have already passed with a great note.

This e-book is a very powerful device that also incorporates light, one of the features that users increasingly consider more essential and with a finish and design that is difficult to find in another device of this type.

Papyre

To start putting everything in order, we are going to know discovering what are the main features and specifications of this Papyre 630:

  • Size: 170 x 110 x 9,5 mm
  • Weight :: 190 grams including battery
  • Screen: 6-inch capacitive touchscreen, e-ink, with a resolution of 1024 x 758
  • Processor: RK2828 with a speed of 1.2 GHZ
  • Storage: 4 GB expandable via microSD card
  • Battery: 1.500 mAh Li-Polymer
  • Supported formats: TXT, PDF, EPUB, PDB, FB2, RTF, MOBI, DRM, JPG, PNG, BMP, GIF
  • Connectivity: WiFi b / g / N connection, USB port (micro) and microSD card reader

One of the things that most attracts the attention of its characteristics and specifications and that surely goes unnoticed by almost everyone is that this Papyre eReader is able to recognize documents with MOBI format, that is, the format of Amazon eBooks which is great news since we can buy digital books in the Amazon digital bookstore and read them on this device without having to convert them or carry out previous processes.

Next you can see the Papyre 630 unboxing:

One of the things that surprised us the most when we opened the device box was to find this user guide, so necessary for most users and especially for all those who have an eReader in their hands for the first time.

Next you can see the device review:

If I had to give you one personal opinion of this device, this would be very positive and I really liked its exterior design and especially the pleasant touch it has when it is held in your hands. The light and its size are undoubtedly another of the points in favor of this device along with its price that can vary depending on where we buy it but that it is usually between 110 and 129 euros. If I had to put a but, perhaps this would be its lack of fluency at times, although it is neither relevant nor has it occurred continuously.

My final assessment is that this is a great device, with a very interesting price and that it has nothing to envy to other similar devices on the market.

Good product. It is a detail that Papyre has put physical controls in addition to the tactile ones to its reader. The truth is that I don't care but I think many will appreciate it. I like the Papyre that they let you put book folders directly from the PC, which is great for organizing your library, unlike the Kindle and its "collections" system that I don't like at all. Perhaps you have missed looking at the topic of dictionaries. Is using them as simple as on the Kindle (click on a word and it opens)?

I bought it two months ago to replace my old 613. I must say that I like how it works, although the firmware has some untranslated menus and bugs that denote little care.
One thing that worries me is that the rubberized coating on it has gone around the corners and it looks horrible because there is shiny plastic underneath. Seeing these things, I am left wondering how long the LEDs that illuminate the screen will last, and how much it will cost to change them.

I bought it two weeks ago… ..the same day I bought it. I realized that the letters looked bad. and that the covers of the books were so blurred that I could not read the titles,. as I normally do with my kindle touch..as it is usually a firmware problem..I downloaded the last one and updated it..which made the papyre 630 stay totally blocked.I had to process it due to a breakdown the same day..the technical service has a number for payment 902..they hung up the phone twice..before they attended to me..the face page answered me after two days of asking ... and the only thing they told me is that they would repair the device and they would return it to me. send .. and that the fault was that the same firm that carried the device had updated. rare rare ..
7 days later I get ,,,,,, with the same problems..focused letters that are only corrected if you refresh and the light .... pufffff ... a rather annoying spot of light in the lower left part .. and the blurred covers ... anyway ... that last Wednesday he processed it for a refund of the amount ... and here I am without a reader. And no money ... today, Tuesday, no one from this company has deigned to tell me anything ... ... or confirmation of receipt. day we will give you back the money… ..nothing at all… ..when you do a review of a device you should also look at this… which I think is the most important thing… ..a greeting

Grammata scam people. There is always something in the warranty that it does not cover for some reason and a reason not to fulfill. The grammata website sells ebooks and when you buy them, well, you cannot download them because the website is under maintenance and when you complain they tell you that you are right and they promise to return the money, which never happens. Silvia do not buy ebooks from papyre they are not serious.

Sounds like a scam to me! within a week of buying it, it was blocked. It took a month to return it to me, the same day they deliver it to me it fails again. Another month of repair I take it again and ... It still does not work properly !!!! I've had it for four months and I still haven't been able to finish a book ... totally inadvisable. There may be a specific manufacturing failure but two shipments and they still do not solve it ... I paid 100 euros !!!!
