Amazon gives you money for your old Kindle

Amazon

Although this operation is not new for Amazon, it has been relaunched recently, in such a way that after these holidays many will have an excess of eReaders that they will want to get rid of. In this case the Amazon Trade-In program will be in charge of doing this operation, an operation that ranges from $ 5 to $ 50 for the old Kindle in addition to $ 20 discount if you buy a new Kindle.

The bad thing about this process, if it can be considered something bad, is that it will not be physical money that is given but money for Amazon account that will have to be spent before May 31, 2016, otherwise it will be lost.

But despite everything it is interesting if we have an old Kindle with a keyboard or simply the 6th generation Kindle and we want to change it for a Kindle Paperwhite or something more advanced. In this case, this change is interesting since it will allow us renew at a cheaper price than normal. In addition, this old Kindle renovation program includes all possible options, from eReaders that work well, to eReaders that are broken and do not turn on. The Kindle DX is also accepted, but in this case if someone has it working, I doubt that they want to sell it.

Unfortunately I only know supports Kindle eReaders, so we can not have money for another old eReader, although it is also true that the Kindle is one of the best sellers and that will affect many more readers.

Of course, this new Amazon program is interesting and surely after these holidays many people will use it, although it would have been better to have started a program that gave money for both the old Kindle and the old Fire or the Kindle Fire, tablets that many use as eReaders and have a greater influx. But surely before May 31, Amazon will launch something similar.
