A few hours ago the Lesen website echoed a new eReader on the market that little resembles the known models. This eReader is called Billow and will be sold by the company Aldi, a major store in Belgium which has more than 450 stores where this new eReader will be distributed.
The worst thing about Billow is that we do not know many of its characteristics and if its price, something that tells me that more than a careful eReader, Billow is another Aldi product.
Billow has a 6 ″ electronic ink screen, both the resolution and the technology used is a mystery and at the moment we do not know the technical details of the screen, now we know that the screen will be touch and will have lighting. From what he comments Read, Billow will have neither Wi-Fi connection nor audio output nor bluetooth, something that limits it only to the microusb output of the eReader.

If we know that it will support ePub, PDF and Adobe DRM, although if you use the usb output, the use of Caliber will be almost mandatory and the issue of formats will be totally dispensable.
The price of the Billow will be approximately 79 euros, something that represents a saving compared to other European models that circulate there, but of course very expensive if we take into account that in Germany the basic Kindle has less and is more powerful than other eReaders They are much more powerful for little more money like the Kobo Glo HD.
Personally I think that the more variety the better for the users, but in this case I do not think that anyone benefits from the Billow. An eReader without a Wi-Fi connection does not make much sense today since the game it can give us is a lot and the cost of adding it to an eReader is quite little, however there are many who think that such a thing does not matter.
I think so and the truth is that for 80 euros, something like this should not be missing.
