The consideration that one has about a book or an editorial title is something particular, since what for some is a different book format, others is a different product, totally different, this happens with the ebook, but now it will not be the only one.
A new California law now makes distinction between normal books and signed booksThus, the books that are sold with the author's signature will be considered works of art and therefore will have to come with corresponding certificates that certify it.
This has surprised many and has annoyed many booksellers who acquired this type of book without any certificate and that they cannot sell it for high amounts of money, which makes them either pay to create a certificate of authenticity and therefore lose money or lose the money they paid for it. In any case they will lose a lot of money with this new law.

Even so, the issue of the ebook has remained in the air in this law but not the issue of money, the first being legislation in no man's land. At the moment there are signed ebooks, with the signature of the writer but nothing has been said about this type of ebooks, something that should be taken into account since it is the same in digital format but with more possibilities of being pirated than in the other format.
So it seems that the controversy over formats and prices continues and now more because it does not seem that such a law has been very consensual by the experts, now well Will this type of law be extended to other countries like Spain? Will the law disappear or will it be popular? What will the booksellers do to fix the losses?
