The publication of Winter winds, the continuation of the successful saga Song of ice and fire by George RR Martin, on which the acclaimed television series Game of Thrones is also based, was scheduled to be published in the first days of this year 2016. Unfortunately since then it has suffered continuous delays.
However, it seems that the wait could be close to ending and it is that according to information published by Amazon France, we assume that by mistake, Martin's new novel would be published on March 9, 2017.
HarperCollins is the publisher in charge of publishing the novels and although at the moment it has not confirmed the leaked information, it has declared through a spokesperson that "Nothing has been decided regarding publication or date".
George RR Martin, very used to publishing information about his new novels through the official website, has not yet confirmed the publication date. Some time ago it was launched to confirm that Winter winds would reach the bookstores of half the world in January 2016, something that finally did not happen.
For now we have to wait to know when we can enjoy Winter winds, something that is taking a long time, when in addition all the followers of the literary saga hoped to have it for the past month of January 2016 as it was officially announced.
