These days mark 161 years since the birth of Oscar Wilde, and although this date has gone totally unnoticed by most people, for us not. And so today we want to remember the great Irish writer, poet and playwright in a somewhat curious way.
And we have not found a better way than to celebrate the 161 years of the birth of Wilde more than by making a selection of some of his best phrases, which he left us for posterity, and which many people still use today. Even those phrases can be seen written on huge walls in some bars, although unfortunately neither the waiters nor anyone from that bar could tell me whose phrase it was. Poor Oscar Wilde if he raised his head and saw that his legendary phrases decorate a bar without his signature and without anyone knowing who said it.
