Is it convenient to give a tablet to a young child?

Tablet

In recent weeks we are seeing a proliferation in the world market large number of tablets oriented in their design and contents towards the smallest of the house so I have decided to try to answer the question from this article; Is it convenient to give a tablet to a young child?.

Not many years ago they gave all of us for Christmas parties or for our birthdays the typical ball or hopefully the last bicycle with which to go round and round for hours to the soccer field in the nearest park, but times have changed and many children and not so children do not even know that without those gifts.

Giving a tablet to children in principle does not have to be a bad decision, quite the opposite, but it can become a very bad decision if the parents or guardians of the minor do not know restrict usage time with what sometimes the tablet ends up becoming the only toy creating an undesirable dependency. A tablet can be an interesting toy for the education and entertainment of a child but it should never be a replacement for a coloring book, a ball or the traditional cars that we have all had fun with for hours and hours.

This is just an opinion of someone who has always preferred a football to a console and would never give a tablet to a child small no matter how much Samsung has made a tablet for them that would give an outstanding grade.

The ultimate decision of whether or not to give a tablet to a young child is made by the parents who should also be responsible when it comes to letting that child use it.

Do you think it is convenient to give a tablet to a young child?Tell us your opinion through the comments on this entry, in our forum or in some of the social networks in which we are present.

I practically agree with what you say, in any case it would always be better to give a tablet than a game console, to which they are now hooked. After all, tablets can be used for educational purposes, and not just for gaming.

I only object to what you say. I would never give an A to a backlit display. I think that in the future tablets will sweep away telecommunications, outreach, entertainment and education when the burden of backlit screens is removed.

Well, for this year I decided to give away, or rather, adapt a tablet to the use of my children, since mine and my smartphone have a very different use (obviously) and because it is impossible not to lend them at some point because they always try to explore a device with that level of sophistication. In addition, there is a risk that the phone or tablet suffers some damage. But, my question was that, would it be favorable or healthy? I think yes, it can be used and as indicated, controlling the times and with the supervision of the parents. I will try to take advantage of it.

It would be better for each boy and girl to play with things according to their age. What are we going to give our children later if they already have everything? The best thing is that the child wishes so that later he values what he has.
