Gvido, an eReader for the most musicians

Guido

Although the world of Music is a world anchored in the past, or so it may seem to many of us, the truth is that the important elements within the world of musicAs are the instruments or the scores, they are constantly updated.

A few hours ago we met a curious electronic device that is not only focused on the world of Music but also with the world of eReaders, two worlds that don't seem to be very related, at least lately. This peculiar device it's called Gvido.Gvido is a dual screen eReader, that is, in the form of a notebook. Its size is large because it has two 13-inch screens or what is the same, Gvido has the shape of an A4 sheet notebook. This device uses two e-ink screens with mobius technology, so we don't have great resolutions but we can do functions like writing, taking notes and storing everything on the device. Gvido has a storage capacity of 8 Gb, a high capacity but that will be full of pdf files since it does not read specific formats of scores or ebooks, it can only read pdf files like the Sony DPT-S1.

Gvido works similar to the Sony DPT-S1 but with two displays

Both the price and the launch date of Gvido are elements that we still do not know and that we may take a while to know because the launch of the prototype has not yet been made official, that is, it will take time to go on the market for those who, in addition to read ebooks want to listen to or produce music. The first prototype of Gvido will be presented at the International Record Market held in Cannes. So it may even be that some musicians, such as the Spanish or the Americans, do not arrive or take even longer to be able to acquire this device.

Although Gvido doesn't seem like a great device to me, it does highlight a problem that many users have: device formats. Gvido solves the life of a sector, musicians, but there are more problems in little worlds where eReader formats do not solve their needs What do you think?
