HBO confirmed a few hours ago that the seventh season of Game of Thrones, the successful television series based on the literary saga Song of ice and fire by George RR Martin, to be released in 2017, although at a later date than April as usual until now. In addition, this confirms that the new season will arrive after the publication of the sixth book of the saga, Winter winds.
The new book in the literary saga was scheduled to be released some time ago, although there have been continuous delays without Martin or his publisher having given convincing explanations.
