Is Apple preparing to use E-ink panels on its keyboards?

Yesterday we were faced with a quite striking rumor in which it was said that Apple could integrate an E-ink screen just below the keyboard of the next Macbooks. A very interesting innovation that, if it becomes real, can be one with which to sell the next Macbooks, since there are also rumors that a presentation is coming.

This is still more of a wish than anything else, since at the moment there is no image of a current product that gives more room for that rumor to really become a reality.

As far as is known, Apple would be ready for a press event later this month where he would teach the new line of MacBooks Pros. Updated laptops would be characterized by an OLED touch panel on the keyboard that changes depending on the app the user is in.

Now it has been revealed that there is a similar system that could be implemented in the Apple keyboard. There is a Chinese user who works at Tsinghua University (which would be the Chinese MIT) who has said that such a keyboard was seen at a closed-door event on campus. An event created by Foxconn, the one that supplies Apple.

The Australian startup Sonder was present at the event and they were in charge of showing the prototype of the next generation of the Apple Magic Keyboard, which is characterized by having an E-Ink panel on each key. This would give the user the ability to customize the keyboard with different languages, images, and shortcuts.

We remember that we are facing a possible rumor and there is no image to corroborate this information, so we will have to wait to have those E-ink panels on an Apple keyboard.

In the video you see the prototypeBut it's one that is a far cry from what a finished Apple product would be.
