10 things we all like about a library

If last week we reviewed the 10 things we all hate happening in a libraryToday I thought that all of us who regularly visit one of these places are also easy to find. 10 things we like. I have only chosen 10, but they could perfectly be many more, although also much less and it is that perhaps the library of your city does not offer you more than a couple of things that you like.

Since they have the ordered books, through offering us the latest news and even the possibility of accessing a huge collection of digital books, we are going to show you what we all like about a library.

1. The books. A library is full of books, and the first thing that we have to like almost by obligation is that the books are in good condition, organized and that it does not look more like a jungle than a place dedicated to reading
2. The more books the better. We will never finish reading all the books in a library, but the more titles there, the more we will have to choose from and therefore we will have more possibilities to choose a book that is to our liking.
3. The reading corners. I don't know about you, but one of the things I like the most is losing an afternoon in a library and using the little reading nooks that are usually scattered throughout the premises. That little sofa with a lamp or that corner adapted to read are one of those things that I love and that I'm sure you love too
4. Availability of eReaders and eBooks. Digital reading is attracting more and more people and something very positive is that libraries offer electronic and digital books on loan
5. Query section. Not all libraries have a consultation section, but when they do, it is usually a pleasure, and sometimes very useful, to get lost in them.
6. Librarians. That they are kind and pleasant is usually something that we all like, and more if we need their help. Unfortunately this does not usually happen in all cases, although as they say there is everything in all libraries
7. The sanctions. Most libraries impose penalties for late delivery of loaned books, which is totally normal. However, we are all aware that it is difficult to read the books within the time limit that is proposed to us and that is why we all tend to like very much that the sanctions and the rules are not too strict
8. Cleaning. Many of you take for sure that libraries are clean places, but unfortunately this is not the case, so I could not fail to include here that the library is clean as something that we all tend to like
9. Newspaper and magazine section. It is not usually something normal, especially in small libraries, but it is something that everyone or almost everyone likes
10. Location. I have to walk a long way to get to the library, I will be delighted that it was closer and could come and go in a short space of time
