Nook GlowLight Plus is the name of the next eReader that we have been talking about for a long time. Well, after leaked images and errors on the web we can already say that the Nook GlowLight Plus is official and is sold on the B&N website.
The new B&N eReader does not present anything new: a 6 ″ screen with electronic ink, touch, illuminated and with Letter technology. It has 300 dpi and has no possibility of expanding the internal storage. We are all familiar with these features by now and older eReaders have them. Now the new Nook GlowLight Plus is water and shock resistant, like the Kobo H2O or like the Tolino Vision 3 HD, more similar to the latter than to the first as the screen is 6 ″.
The price of this device is also striking as it will cost about 129 dollars, a lower price than the 159 euros that the Tolino Vision 3 HD costs and it seems that the name will be the only thing that changes in those eReaders.
Also, B&N has not removed its older eReaders as well. The Nook GlowLight continues to sell but at a lower price, at $ 99, a bit high price compared to the basic Kindle but not bad for an eReader like the Nook GlowLight.
Now we will have to wait if people like the new Nook GlowLight Plus or not, since the library depends largely on the taste of the people. So far their tablets seem to have not reached the market well, something that has not happened with Amazon tablets, despite the fact that the Samsung and B&N tablet is technologically better speaking that of Amazon.
However, I personally think that this new B&N eReader will be interesting for the market, a fairly accepted option or at least that's what it seems to me. What do you think of this eReader? Would you buy the new Nook GlowLight Plus?
